Altor acquires Trioplast
Swedish GP Altor Equity Partners has wholly acquired Trioplast, a SmУЅlandsstenar-based manufacturer of sustainable and high-tech plastic film, from the founding family.
With the fresh capital, Trioplast intends to continue investing in new technology to produce sustainable plastic.
Altor is currently investing from its Fund IV, which held a final close on €2bn in July 2014. It was 55% deployed as of October 2017, according to Unquote Data.

Founded in 1965 by Vilhelm Larsson and headquartered in Smålandsstenar, Trioplast is a packaging producer and plastic manufacturer using recycled and raw materials.
Trioplast recorded a turnover of SEK 4.3m in 2017 and employs a staff of 1,000. The company's main office is located in Smålandsstenar. Production facilities are located in Sweden, Denmark and France and the products are sold globally.
