
Sentica, Tesi back SuperPark
Sentica Partners and Tesi have acquired Finland-based indoor activity park operator SuperPark.
SuperPark is aiming to grow internationally and pursue its existing growth strategy. It is currently preparing to open new parks this year, with the next park planned to open in Suzhou, China, followed by further growth in Asia and the opening of a first park in Europe outside Finland. It plans on opening 100 parks by the end of 2023.
Finnish buyout firm Sentica held a final close for its fifth vehicle, Sentica Buyout V, on its target of €185m in April 2017. The fifth fund is 42% larger than its previous iteration, Sentica Buyout IV, which closed on €130m in October 2013.
Company
Founded in 2012 and based in Vuokatti, SuperPark owns and operates 13 indoor activity parks catering to children and adults in Finland. It opened its first international park in Hong Kong in December 2017.
The company posted net sales of €14m in 2017 and employs a staff of 50 in Finland.
