Segulah acquires Pelly from Fouriertransform
Swedish GP Segulah has acquired Pelly Group, a manufacturer of functional storage components, from Stockholm-based VC firm Fouriertransform and minority stakeholders.
The acquisition is the sixth investment from the GP's Segulah V fund, which held a final close on SEK 2.4bn in April 2016.
With the fresh capital, Pelly intends to expand in the Nordic market both organically and through acquisitions. Segulah will appoint its industrial adviser Lars Brodd as chair of the board.

Founded in 1947 and headquartered in Jönköping, Pelly is a manufacturer of functional storage components, primarily for the kitchen and wardrobe markets. The company operates under the Pelly, Mirro and LG Collection brands.
It runs production sites in Hillerstorp and Nässjö, as well as in the Baltic region with a site in Kaunas, Lithuania. Customers primarily include kitchen and wardrobe manufacturers active in the Nordic market. The company reported a turnover of SEK 450m in 2017 and employs a staff of 300.
