
Polaris acquires ProData Consult
Danish private equity firm Polaris has acquired Copenhagen-based ProData Consult, a consultancy providing business and IT services in northern Europe.
Polaris tapped its latest buyout vehicle, Polaris Private Equity IV, marking the sixth investment from the fund.
Alongside the fresh capital, ProData intends to draw on the GP's experience working with similar growth companies in a bid to further professionalise its business.
Polaris held a final close on DKK 3.3bn for its fourth fund in October 2016. It typically invests in lower-mid-market Danish and Swedish companies valued at between DKK 300-750m with revenues of DKK 175m-1.5bn.

Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Copenhagen, ProData is a consultancy focused on business and IT services. The group provides consultants and IT specialists to clients in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Germany and the Netherlands.
Since its establishment, the company has been owned by a group of employees and board members. The firm reported revenues of DKK 910m in its last financial year, a growth rate of 30% in 2017.
