Waterland acquires Helgstrand Dressage
Waterland Private Equity has acquired a majority stake in Denmark-based Helgstrand Dressage, an equestrian sports company.
The deal marks Waterland's first investment in Denmark after opening its office in Copenhagen in August 2017.
Helgstrand's day-to-day management is unchanged. With the GP on board, it is looking to make targeted investments in the existing business, as well as driving new markets and finding acquisition opportunities in line with Waterland's strategy of accelerating growth organically and through acquisitions.
