
Pegasus Capital Advisors invests in Yanzi Networks
US-based private equity firm Pegasus Capital Advisors has acquired a controlling stake in Yanzi Networks, a Sweden-based Internet-of-Things (IoT) services provider for facility management.
Yanzi's existing investor, the AP6 pension fund, will retain a significant minority stake in the business. The company's founders and employees will also retain a stake.
With the capital injection, Yanzi plans to accelerate development of its products and expand its operations globally, which includes moving its headquarters to the US.
Pegasus typically invests between $50-150m in companies in the health and wellness, lighting and energy efficiency, energy, waste, and food sectors. It seeks to take controlling stakes in its portfolio companies.

Established in 2009 and headquartered in Kista, Sweden, Yanzi provides an end-to-end, horizontal and all-IP software IoT platform. The company offers sensors, gateways and a cloud server system packaged into a software-as-a-service for smart office applications.
