
Tesi, Partnera buy Uusioaines
Finnish government-backed VC firm Tesi and private investment firm Partnera have jointly acquired glass recycling company Uusioaines.
The two firms have jointly invested €19.8m on a debt-free basis.
Tesi will take a 30% stake in the company and Partnera will become the largest shareholder with a 58% stake.
The company's managing director, Jussi Parkkali, will also hold a minority position in the business.

Uusioaines is a Finnish glass recycling company based in Forssa, Finland. It processes 80,000 tonnes of glass annually, converting used glass into cullet, which is supplied to manufacturers in the glass container and glass wool production industry for re-use. It was founded in 1994, generated sales of €14.3m in 2017 and employs 35 people.
