Aurelius acquires Hellanor
Aurelius Equity Opportunities has agreed to acquire Norwegian automotive aftermarket wholesaler Hellanor from German trade vendor Hella.
Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, though Aurelius writes equity cheques of €5–80m per deal. The deal is Aurelius's fourth investment in the Nordic region.
Hella is the third primary investment made by Aurelius since the start of 2018, following the acquisitions of UK-based Ideal Shopping Direct and Germany-headquartered VAG.
The deal is subject to approval from antitrust authorities and is expected to complete by the end of 2018.
Company
Headquartered in Skytta, near Oslo, Hellanor sells automotive parts and tools to workshops, car dealerships and wholesalers. The division generates a turnover of €70m, according to a statement, and has a headcount of 250 across 19 branches.
