Verdane buys Scanmarket
Nordic PE firm Verdane has acquired a majority stake in Danish procurement software business Scanmarket.
The GP has drawn capital from its buyout fund Verdane Edda to acquire a 90% stake in the business. Scanmarket CEO Betina Nygaard and founder Ole Nielsen will reinvest for the remaining 10% stake.
Verdane Edda closed on its €3bn hard-cap in May 2018 and Scanmarket will be its fourth investment, according to Unquote Data.
The company stated that Verdane's involvement would allow it to accelerate its investment into product development and marketing.
