
Nordic VCs sell Capres to trade
Nordic VC firms Maj Invest and the venture arm of Swedish bank SEB have sold semiconductor production technology company Capres to trade buyer KLA Corporation.
The vendors hired Acuity Advisors to sell the business, a London-based corporate finance house that focuses on technology.
KLA is a Nasdaq-listed semiconductor manufacturer based in California. It expects sales of $1.12bn for the quarter ending 31 March 2019 and employs 10,000 people.

SEB first invested in Capres in 2004, according to publicly available information.
Company
Capres was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Diplomvej, Denmark. It makes tools for the production of computer chips using MRAM technology and magnetic sensors. It employs between 11-50 people and has 37 listed employees on Linkedin.
