
Standout invests in X-akseli
Standout Capital has acquired Finnish healthcare management software developer X-akseli.
The GP is investing from its SEK 1bn buyout fund Standout Capital I, which was 35% invested across five deals by November last year.
Standout has introduced three independent directors to the board: Åke Stråberg, Marie Öberg Lindevall and Antti Larsio. All three are senior executives within the Finnish healthcare industry.
Standout partner Erik Wästlund said the GP will support the company's growth both in Finland and internationally.

X-akseli was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Espoo, Finland. It develops a software platform for hospitals that helps handle patient check-in and queuing. By the end of 2018, the company employed 35 people and generated a turnover of €3.8m.
