Triton buys Aleris for SEK 2.8bn
Triton Partners has acquired a majority stake in Stockholm-headquartered healthcare provider Aleris from Investor AB subsidiary Patricia Industries at an enterprise value of SEK 2.8bn.
The GP drew equity for the investment from The Triton Fund V, which held a final close on €5bn in January.
Under Patricia's ownership the company had net debt of SEK 550, and the equity was valued at SEK 2bn. Giving it an enterprise value of SEK 2.8bn at the time of the sale (when transaction costs of SEK 200m are included).
Triton's acquisition does not include the entity Doktor24, which Patricia will continue to hold.

Aleris is headquartered in Stockholm and was founded in 2004. It offers diagnostics, radiology and other speciality healthcare services to 1.1 million patients across the Nordic region. It employs 3,000 people at 100 units.
