
FSN sells Velcora to trade for SEK 1.28bn
FSN Capital Partners has sold engineering group Velcora to US-listed trade buyer Idex Corporation, a manufacturer of pumps and metering products, for SEK 1.28bn.
The acquisition includes Velcora's Roplan and Steridose businesses, which are both headquartered in Sweden.
It ends a holding period of four years for FSN, which acquired Roplan Group using capital from its fourth fund in August 2015 and combined it with Steridose to form Velcora later in the year.
The group generated total revenues of SEK 375m in 2018.
Company
Roplan is a manufacturer of mechanical shaft seals for the food and beverage, marine, chemical and water treatment industries. It is headquartered in Tumba, Sweden and has additional operations in China.
Steridose makes engineered hygienic mixers and valves for the global biopharmaceutical industry. It is also headquartered in Tumba, with additional operations in China.
