
Marlin Equity Partners acquires Heimdal Security
Marlin Equity Partners has acquired Denmark-based cybersecurity software developer Heimdal Security.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Marlin typically invests in companies with revenues of $10m-2bn.
Through this investment, the cybersecurity company aims to hasten growth, enhance its product offering and expand its international operations.
The private equity firm's most recent fund was Marlin Heritage II, which has $750m in capital commitments and launched in 2017.

Headquartered in Copenhagen and founded in 2011, Heimdal is a provider of cloud-based cybersecurity services to 6,000 companies in Scandinavia, the UK and the US.
It provides endpoint rights management, antivirus, and mail security services to its customers to protect them against cyberattacks and secure intellectual property and data.
Heimdal provides its security suite through a subscription-based cloud platform and employs between 11 and 50 people.
