
Paradigm Capital increases IES stake to 57.6%
German private equity firm Paradigm Capital has increased its shareholding in listed Swedish listed education company Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES).
The GP has increased its stake to 57.6%, amounting to 23 million shares, according to a disclosure filed by the company.
According to Swedish publication Direkt, the GP previously owned around 20% of the shares in IES. Other major shareholders include TA Associates, Bock Capital, founder Barbara Bergstrom, Svedbank Robur and Handelsbanken.
According to IES, revenues for the 2018/2019 financial year amounted to SEK 2.78bn (c€270m). The company has a current market cap of SEK 3.19bn.
