
Procuritas buys Polarn O Pyret
Procuritas has acquired a majority stake in Swedish children's clothing brand Polarn O Pyret for SEK 330m (€33m).
The GP deployed equity from Procuritas Capital Investors VI, which held a final close in May 2017 on €318m hard-cap.
The GP paid for the company on a cash- and debt-free basis, and acquired the company from fashion and accessories retailer RNB Retail and Brands.
Investment company Jotunfjell Partners and the management team will own a minority stake in Polarn O Pyret.
Procuritas said in a statement that the GP had followed the company for several years, and that it will support the company's growth and help develop sustainability in the clothing industry.

Founded in 1976 and based in Stockholm, Polarn O Pyret is a clothing brand for babies and children. The company has around 280 employees and it generated a turnover of SEK 601m in the 2019/20 financial year.
