
Sentica exits Finnish IT company Solteq
Finnish GP Sentica Partners has sold its shareholding in listed Vantaa-based IT service Solteq.
The GP sold a total of 4,801,293 shares in the company to a group of institutional investors for 470 euro cents per share, representing 24.75% of Solteq's shares.
The exit comes 11 years after the GP, via Sentica Buyout III, invested in Descom, which was acquired by Solteq in 2015. The GP at that time acquired a stake in the merged entity.
OP Corporate Bank was the sole bookrunner in connection with the share sale, while Borenius Attorneys acted as the GP's legal adviser.

Founded in 1982 and based in Vantaa, Solteq is a provider of IT services and software solutions. The key sectors in which the company has long-term experience include retail, industry, energy and services.
It operates in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland and the UK, and employs 600 people. The company had sales of €60.5m in 2020.
