Screen Capital buys machine rental firm Tätab Hyrservice
Swedish investment company Screen Capital has acquired Tätab Hyrservice, a Swedish company that leases lifts and construction machinery.
The acquisition was in line with a generational change in ownership of Tätab, the GP said in a statement.
The GP, a Swedish firm that does not invest from a fund, typically acquires controlling stakes in SMEs in the Nordic region that are valued at SEK 40-200m. Including Tätab, it has so far backed eight Swedish companies.
According to its website, the GP helps companies by funding their geographical expansion, product development and M&A.
Company
Founded in 1963, Tätab operates machine rental in Stockholm, Tranås, Jönköping, Nässjö and Vetlanda. It employs 20 people and has a turnover of around SEK 80m (€7.9m).
