Nordic Capital sells 9.2% stake in listed firm Nordnet
Nordic Capital has sold its remainingТ 9.2% stakeТ in listed company Nordnet, a pan-Nordic digital savings and investments platform.The equity value of Nordnet on 26 May was SEK 38bn (тЌ3.7bn).Т
The company was listed on Nasdaq Stockholm in November 2020 at an equity value of approximately SEK 24bn (€2.3bn)
Following the sale, Nordic Capital no longer owns any shares in Nordnet, while Öhman Group remains the largest shareholder with a 22% stake.
In 2017, Nordnet was taken private by Nordic Capital and Öhman. Under its ownership, the GP said that Nordnet doubled its customer base and nearly tripled net savings capital during Nordic Capital's ownership.
