Intera Partners closes fourth fund at €335m
Finnish growth-focused private equity firm Intera Partners has held a first and final close for its fourth fund on its €335m hard-cap.
The fund was oversubscribed and surpassed its €300m target.
Rede Partners was the placement agent, and Borenius Attorneys was the legal adviser for the fundraise.
Investors
LPs in the new fund are from the Nordic countries, France and DACH, and include public pension funds, government agencies, wealth managers, and family offices.
Investments
Like its previous funds, Intera Fund IV will invest in the lower-mid-market space, and target mainly Finnish and some Swedish businesses looking for a partner to help drive growth and internationalisation.
The GP typically invests in companies with enterprise values of €20-100m at the time of investment. It aims to accelerate the growth and internationalization of target companies, as well as pursue industry consolidation.
Founded in 2007, Intera is a Finnish private equity firm focused on making growth investments.
The GP earlier this year exited portfolio companies Sitowise and Kreate by listing them, and recently invested in companies Galena Pharma and Midagon.
