Swedish private equity firm Priveq has sold Scanmast, a supplier of mast and tower infrastructure, to trade buyer Volati at an estimated enterprise value of around SEK 245m (€24m).
The purchase consideration for the shares is SEK 223m (€21.9m). As part of the acquisition, Scanmast CEO Ann-Charlotte Andersson has also acquired shares in the company.
The GP's exit comes eight years after its investment in the business via its fourth fund. During Priveq's ownership period, the GP said Scanmast strengthened its market position in Sweden and Norway, and established operations in Finland.
Following the transaction, Scanmast will become a new business unit in Volati's industrial business unit.
