
Avista’s Trimb acquires YouMedical
Swedish pharmaceutical company Trimb Healthcare, which counts Avista Capital Partners and HealthCap among its backers, has acquired Dutch over-the-counter pharma company YouMedical.
The acquisition forms part of Avista's strategy to build a northern European over-the-counter pharmaceuticals platform, which began with the July 2015 investment in Trimb.
Avista invested in Trimb alongside the company's founders, management and VC backer HealthCap at the beginning of July. The company had previously received backing from Swedish healthcare-focused VC HealthCap.

Founded in 2005, the company has annual revenues of €16m.
