FII and Etera invest in Academica
Finnish Industry Investment (FII) and Etera Mutual Pension Insurance Company have invested in Finnish ICT service provider Academica.
The value of the deal has not been disclosed, although the investors will own a 25% stake in the company going forward. Funding will support the company in achieving its planned growth path and meeting the needs of its customers.
Company
Academica is based in Helsinki and is an ICT service provider focused on data centres and virtualised services. It was founded in 1985 and today employs approximately 60 people.
In 2010 the company generated a turnover of €13.3m.
