
Ackra Invest acquires COS Systems
Ackra Invest has invested in COS Systems, an Umeå-based information and communications technology company.
COS was hitherto owned by holding companies connected to management and consultants. Ackra came in as a co-owner in order to establish and market the company's new product Service Zones.
Ackra is a regional venture investor taking minority stakes in companies active in the north of Sweden.
Company
COS develops products for the broadband market; these include OSS/BSS-system, an automation product for network owners and operators; and the new product Service Zones, designed to optimise returns on fibre investments. Headquartered in Umeå, the company also has sales offices in Boston.

Arne Morén is the CEO of Ackra. Jörgen Olofsson is the chief executive officer of COS.
