
Boost Communications raises further £1m
Existing backers Investinor and TeleVenture have contributed to a £1m funding round for Norwegian mobile advertising firm Boost Communications.
The firm will use the fresh funding to expand on an international scale. TeleVenture invested via Norsk Innovasjonskapital.
Boost raised €3.3m in February 2012, with investment from Investinor and TeleVenture. The duo took a 38% stake in the firm.
Company
Founded in 2000 as a spinout from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Boost develops software that allows firms to manage advertising and mobile activities. The software supports mobile campaigns, media buying and reporting. Boost opened offices in London and Krakow in 2013 and expanded its Dubai office with several new hires.
The firm also owns a 75% stake in Boostcom Media, a mobile campaigning software and services firm.
People
Principal Jon Øyvind Eriksen led Investinor's first investment in Boost in 2012. Øystein R Skiri is the CEO and founder of Boost.
