
Ratos’s Bisnode acquires AIS Nordic for SEK 65m
Swedish listed GP Ratos has provided SEK 45m to support its business information portfolio company Bisnode’s acquisition of vehicle-data service AIS Nordic.
The enterprise value of Bisnode's acquisition is around SEK 65m, financed through equity provided by Ratos.
Bisnode's bolt-on of AIS Nordic will expand the company's capabilities in the automotive information sector.
Ratos has entered into its 10th year of ownership of Bisnode, which it acquired in a 2005 MBO.
Previous funding
Ratos acquired Bisnode in June 2005, paying around €220m for a 70% equity stake in the company. The GP has since supported the growth of Bisnode, including the 2008 bolt-on of German online search service company Wer Liefert Was.
