
IDG Ventures et al. inject $6m into Next Games
IDG Ventures and a group of co-investors have injected $6m into Next Games, a Finnish games company.
The series-A round, which is also the company's first external investment round, was co-led by IDG Ventures and Jari Ovaskainen. Lowercase Capital, IDG Capital, AMC Networks Ventures and York Ventures also participated in the funding round, as well as private investors including Mich Mathews, Ken Lamb and Darren Throop.
The fresh capital will be used for creating more games, including a game based on popular TV series The Walking Dead.
