
G Square buys Mikeva from Intera
G Square Capital has acquired Finnish social care services provider Mikeva from Intera Partners.
Equity was invested from G Square Capital I, which closed on €209m in September 2011.
Tuomas Lang, managing partner at Intera, described the investment as successful.
Previous funding
Intera backed the MBO of Mikeva from its parent company Ruukki Group in June 2008.
Company
Mikeva, founded in 1987, provides social care services to vulnerable adults and children throughout Finland. Headquartered in Vantaa, its turnover and headcount nearly tripled between the financial years 2008 and 2010, from €12.6m and 273 staff to €33.6m and 756 employees.

Managing partner Tuomas Lang worked on the deal for Intera. Petri Pitkäranta is CEO of Mikeva.
