
CapMan acquires Suomen Lämpöikkuna
CapMan has acquired Suomen Lämpöikkuna, a provider of window and door renovations in Finland.
Suomen Lämpöikkuna is the third investment from mid-market fund CapMan Buyout X, which held a second close on €206m in June 2013, following its first close in November 2012 on €152m. Management will retain a significant minority stake following the transaction.
CapMan made a similar investment in January 2011 when it acquired an 80% stake in Pohjolan Design-Talo, a designer and producer of wood-framed prefabricated houses, from Ruuki Group for close to €76m, via CapMan Buyout IX and CapMan Mezzanine V.

Founded in 2010, Suomen Lämpöikkuna and its services brand LämpöLux provide turnkey window and door renovations to household customers. The company has 130 employees and its turnover stood at €23m in 2013.
