Seed Capital raises $1.4m for Airtame
Danish VC Seed Capital has led a $1.4m seed round for Copenhagen-based wireless technology company Airtame.
Tommy Andersen, founder of speaker designer Libratone, also participated in the round. The capital is expected to fund a full product launch for Airtame's wireless HDMI dongle in Q2 2015.
The company already has limited production, following a successful campaign on crowdfunding website Indiegogo in late 2013. Raised in 60 days, the campaign also resulted in 15,000 pre-orders of the company's dongle.

Based in Copenhagen, Airtame has designed and developed a wireless HDMI dongle which plugs into a TV or monitor and lets users to stream their computer or phone's screen to it.
Founded in 2013, the company employs 17 people.

Ulla Brockenhuus-Schack is the CEO of Seed Capital, and Jonas Gyalokay is the co-founder and CEO of Airtame.
