
HitecVision acquires Deep Sea Mooring
HitecVision has acquired Deep Sea Mooring (DSM), a Norwegian niche supplier of services to oil and gas companies.
HiteCvision's investment in DSM is subject to approval from relevant competition authorities. The company is a part of the Odfjell Drilling Group, which has 40 years of international drilling experience.
Company
DSM was established by Odfjell in 2008 and is based in Stavanger. DSM has been developed from an in-house mooring services provider to one of three providers of mooring services to exploration and production companies and rig owners in Norway.
The company offers rental equipment, pre-lay mooring solutions and ancillary services and serves the market through its locations in Mongstad and Kristiansund.

Simen Lieungh is the CEO of Odfjell. Gunnar Halvorsen is a senior partner at HitecVision. Åge Straume is the vice president of DSM.
