
Vaaka adds six companies to Fysios platform
Finnish GP Vaaka Partners has bolted on six physiotherapy clinics to its physiotherapy buy-and-build platform Fysios.
The acquired businesses are Manuaalinen Terapia, Lappeenrannan Kuntoutus, Länsi-Uudenmaan Fysioterapia and OMT-fysioterapia Saukko, as well as Fysiopalvelu Knuuttila & Sarias and FysioFix Tmi – pending approval of the clinics' official permits.
Fysios's bolt-ons will expand the chain's geographical offering in Finland, with clinics in Imatra, Lappeenranta, Raasepori, Seinäjoki, Joensuu and Oulu.
Previous funding
Fysios was established by Vaaka Partners in March 2015, when the GP acquired seven Finnish physiotherapy businesses, with funding from the 2012-vintage €150m Vaaka Partners Buyout Fund II.
