Danske Private Equity holds final close on €650m

The fundraising exceeded the fund's €600m target, with the final close reaching the €650m hard cap.

The fund held a first close on €534m in February 2012.

The fund attracted commitments from European institutional investors. 

Investments
The fund-of-funds will focus on small- and mid-cap buyout funds across Western Europe and the US. The fund will be evenly distributed between European and American investment opportunities.

John Danielsen, managing partner, Dan Kjerulf, partner, and Jesper Knutsson, senior investment manager, are responsible for the fund.
