Industrifonden injects SEK 5m into Pastry Sweden
Industrifonden has invested SEK 5m in Malmö-based Pastry Sweden, an online cakes and pastries delivery service.
The financing round also included contributions from the founders as well as former owner Spintop Ventures. The fresh capital will be used for the company's expansion in Poland and Germany.
Company
Launched in April 2011 by Magnus Ang and Magnus Noord and based in Malmö, Pastry Sweden is running skickatarta.se, a service for ordering freshly baked cakes and pastries online.
The online service relies on a network of 450 Swedish, 300 German and 100 Polish bakeries. Pastry Sweden receives orders online and the system then sends them directly to the bakery which is closest to the delivery address.
