Ratos loses SEK 90m on Hafa Bathroom Exit
Swedish listed GP has made a SEK 90m loss on the sale of Nordic bathroom interiors company Hafa Bathroom Group (HBG) to private investors Ulf Rosberg and Stefan Jacobsson.
The deal's enterprise value amounts to around SEK 50m, and results in a negative IRR for Ratos.

Ratos acquired HBG as part of Haendig in 2001, through the direct secondary acquisition of the Atle private equity portfolio. Its parent was carved up and sold off, leaving only HBG in Ratos's portfolio from 2008 onward.
Another Ratos portfolio company acquired as part of the Atle transaction, GS-Hydro, recently acquired UK-based hose and component manufacturer First Hose.
