CapMan exits Espira
CapMan has agreed to sell Espira, a Norwegian provider of pre-school services, to Swedish education company AcadeMedia.
The deal saw CapMan, which owned 92% of the business, and management fully exit their stakes in the company. The transaction is expected to complete during Q2 2014.
CapMan invested in Espira in 2008, mainly via CapMan Buyout VIII, which owns close to an 85% stake in Espira. Two other CapMan vehicles own the remaining 7%.
During CapMan's holding period, Espira's operations have grown from 36 to 75 pre-schools, and the business established a pipeline of new pre-schools to be launched over the coming years.
