
Northcap commits €2.5m to adQuota
Danish venture capital firm Northcap has invested €2.5m in Danish mobile advertisement platform adQuota International.
Northcap invested from its third fund, which held a final close in June 2012 on DKK 525m.
The company will use the funding to pursue internationalisation plans and scale its sales units. The firm will grow organically and through targeted acquisitions.
The firm expects its revenues to grow tenfold over the coming 2-3 years and hopes to be pan-European by 2015.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2010, adQuota is a mobile advertising network with operations in the Nordic countires, the UK, Poland and the Baltic region. The company provides mobile advertising to brands and agencies in premium advertising space on websites and on apps.
The company has sales offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK, Poland and the Baltic countries.

Jacob Bratting Pedersen is a partner at Northcap and joins the adQuota board. Ulrich Schmidt, founder and former CEO of Ad-pepper Media, joined the board as chairman.
