
Industrifonden et al. inject SEK 29.4m into Apica
Industrifonden, KTH Chalmers Capital and SEB Venture Capital have invested SEK 29.4m in Apica, a Swedish IT company.
The fresh capital will be used to finance the development and launch of the company's cloud-based services internationally, with a particular focus on speeding up the company's US expansion.
Apica has set up a new office in Santa Monica and one in New York during the last two years, aiming to strengthen sales and technical resources in the US.
Company
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Stockholm, Apica provides load testing, performance analysis and surveillance of websites, cloud services and mobile applications.
The business recently launched a new version of Apica LoadTest Portal, a cloud application for load testing websites. The portal is integrated with Apica ProxySniffer, a load testing tool enabling the planning, implementation and analysis of large load tests of up to one million simultaneous users.
The company also has offices in England, Switzerland and the US, and its clients include 400 companies and local authorities.
