
Creandum and Viking-backed it’s learning acquires InfoStance
Creandum and Viking Ventures’ portfolio company it’s learning has acquired a 66% stake in educational technology provider InfoStance.
The stake in InfoStance was sold by Hachette Livre, who will retain 34% of the company. No additional investment has been made by Creandum or Viking, as the acquisition was fully funded by the company.
it's learning is based in Norway and provides teachers with tools that improve collaboration and classroom teaching. The company operates in Norway, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, the UK and the US. Creandum and Viking invested in it's learning in May 2010, giving the company the support needed to grow organically and through acquisitions.
InfoStance offers a product that is similar to it's learning, and is the only product to have achieved full user adoption in French local education authorities.
