
Game Analytics raises $5.5m from Sunstone
Sunstone Capital and other existing investors have participated in a €5.5m series-A funding round for Game Analytics, a Danish analytics provider to game developers.
A new management team has been introduced as part of the investment; former AOL managing director Luke Aviet takes over as CEO, Nick Roveta as vice-president of Strategic Partnerships and Claus Moseholm becomes chief commercial officer. The team also invested in the series-A round.
In addition to new backer Beta Angels, investors in the round included CrunchFund, Huffington Post CEO Jimmy Maymann and René Rechmann, the president of Maker Studio – all of which had previously backed the company.
Previous funding
Game Analytics raised €2.5m from Sunstone, CrunchFund, Maymann and Rechmann, in a seed round in early 2013.
