
Industrifonden sells Arcam shares
Industrifonden has partially exited its holding in listed 3D printing company Arcam via the sale of a 4.4% stake worth SEK 174m.
The placement of 200,000 shares was oversubscribed and completed at a price of SEK 870 per share. The shares were distributed to international and Swedish institutional investors.
Following the sale, Industrifonden remains the largest shareholder in Arcam with 15.7% of the share capital. Industrifonden has been involved in the development of Arcam since 1999, initially as a lender and since 2002 as a shareholder.
Industrifonden has SEK 3.5bn under management and has invested in 93 companies in the technology, cleantech, life sciences and industrial sectors to date.
Company
Based in Mölndal, Arcam manufactures EBM systems, which create parts from metal powders. The process uses standard bio-compatible materials such as Ti6A, Ti Grade 2 and Cobalt-Chrome.
