ISIS Equity Partners has sold communications agency TVC to the Economist Group.
The Economist Group was introduced to ISIS as a potential buyer by corporate finance advisory firm Livingstone Partners.
ISIS invested £5m in a £10m buyout of TVC in 2008. Equity was invested from Baronsmead VCT, and the deal was supported by a £3m debt package from Lloyds TSB Capital Markets.
The TVC Group, founded in 1998, provides PR and creative services according to a content-driven model. The company is based in London and has worked with clients including Coca Cola, British Gas, Vodafone, Lloyds TSB, and Aviva.

Transaction also financed with a €10m senior debt from LCL, BNP Paribas, Bred Banque Populaire and CIC
GP acquires a 49% stake in the company for €1.06bn, while the reminder is retained by current owner Atlantia
LDC invested £20m in Mitrefinch in 2016 for a minority stake and has supported the company in doubling revenues
Omega managing director Claudio Nessi and principal Francesco Draetta will join the company's board
