FSN takes majority stake in Roplan
Nordic private equity firm FSN Capital has taken a majority stake in Roplan Group, a Swedish designer and manufacturer of high-precision mechanical seals.
The GP will acquire its stake from Roplan founder Göran Wallenius, who will retain a minority stake in the business post-transaction.
FSN's capital injection forms part of Roplan's plan for international expansion. The GP has appointed Peter Schmid and Lennart Sundén as members of the company's board, and will tap its FSN IV vehicle for the capital.
The deal is FSN's second in H2 2015, having sold Danish house builder HusCompagniet to EQT in July.

Founded in 1977, Roplan is a designer and manufacturer of high-precision, custom-made mechanical seals.
The company is headquartered in Tumba, near Stockholm, with sales, production and assembly operations in China, the UK and the US, as well as a production unit in Sweden.
Roplan generated revenue of SEK 288m in the 12 months to June 2015.
