
Maj takes a bite out of Sticks'n'Sushi
Maj Invest Equity has acquired 49% of Danish sushi restaurant chain Sticks'n'Sushi.
Sticks'n'Sushi's founders remain majority shareholders with a 51% stake in the company.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate Sticks'n'Sushi's international expansion. The business is aiming for further international growth, particularly in England and further down the line in Germany.
The Sticks'n'Sushi chain currently has 10 restaurants in Copenhagen. In the UK, it has one restaurant in Wimbledon that opened a year ago, and one under construction in Covent Garden, London.
