
HitecVision’s Momek in bolt-on
HitecVision portfolio company Momek Group has acquired Pumpeteknikk Nord, a Norway-based pump systems company.
According to HitecVision, the combination of Momek's market position in northern Norway and Pumpeteknikk's expertise in pumps and pumping systems will provide a solid base for further growth.
HitecVision acquired 50% of Momek in September 2012. The acquisition was made in order to establish a new oil & gas services-focused platform to participate in the projected activity growth in northern Norway, following oil discoveries in the Norwegian sector of the Barents Sea and the Norwegian Sea.

Based in Melbu, Pumpeteknikk develops, manufactures, distributes and installs pumps and pump systems. The company has 20 employees and a turnover of around NOK 40m.
