
Inventure, Reaktor and NSA invest €2m in Sólfar
Finnish VCs Inventure and Reaktor Ventures have participated in a €2m seed round for Icleandic virtual reality startup Sólfar Studios, alongside Iceland’s NSA Ventures.
Other investors include Shanda Group, the investment vehicle of Chinese high-net-worth individual Tianqiao Chen, and existing angel investors.
The seed round will fund Sólfar's creation and publication of virtual reality games and experiences. Sólfar plans to publish VR game Everest in 2016, following a collaboration with Icelandic visual effects and animation studio RVX.
