Norvestor backs Future Production
Norvestor has agreed to invest in Future Production, a Norwegian provider of tailor-made equipment to the offshore rig industry.
Norvestor invested via Norvestor VI and will support Future Production in expanding within the global rig equipment market.
Norvestor plans to grow the company's presence in the North Sea area, as well as internationally.
Company
Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Kristiansand, Future Production is a supplier of bespoke products and solutions to the offshore oil and gas industry, with a focus on drilling rigs.
The company is said to have grown rapidly during the past few years and reported a turnover of nearly NOK 130m in 2012.
Future Production has approximately 7,000 employees based in Kristiansand.

Trond Bjørnøy is a partner at Norvestor and chairman designate of Future Production. Atle Korsmo is CEO and co-founder of Future Production.
