Dawn and Point Nine lead $5m Automile series-A
London-based Dawn Capital and Berlin VC Point Nine Capital have led a $5m series-A round for Swedish car data platform Automile.
The cash injection will fund Automile's global growth, as well as the development of new services for car owners. Dawn and Point Nine's investment will also support Automile's target of 300% revenue growth for 2015.
Other investors in the company include Creandum's Martin Hauge, who backed Automile as an angel investor.

Automile is a Stockholm-based developer of a car data services platform that connects cars and data obtained from vehicles to the cloud for a range of uses.
Founded in 2013, the company's data is currently used mainly as a basis for fleet management applications, although Automile plans to expand uses to other areas such as weather forecasting, road condition mapping and vehicle damage tracking.
People
Dawn Capital's Norman Fiore represented the VC in the round, while Point Nine was represented by Rodrigo Martinez. Jens Nylander is the co-founder and CEO of Automile.
