Sitra exits from Oy Scancool Ab
Sitra has sold its entire share in Oy Scancool Ab to Oilon International Oy, a family business in environmental and energy technology, based in Lahti, Finland.
Oilon International Oy provides Scancool with opportunities to develop business related to industrial heat pumps and refrigeration facilities in the domestic as well as in the export market.
Previous funding
Sitra invested €500,000 in Scancool in October 2009. This was a €1m round syndicated with Wedeco Management Oy. Sitra has been involved in developing Scancool from a traditional contracting and service company in the refrigeration sector into a technology company that supplies energy-efficient industrial heat pumps.
