Adelis acquires NGI
Adelis Equity Partners has acquired a majority stake in NGI, a Danish manufacturer of stainless steel levelling feet, via its first fund.
The company went through a transition in 2008 when Jan Nygaard took over as CEO and co-owner together with Mads Nygaard and their two other siblings.
Following the deal, Jan Nygaard will stay on as CEO and co-owner. Mads Nygaard will remain a member of the board and retain a minority stake. NGI plans to expand internationally following years of growth exceeding 20%.

Founded in 1991 by Knud Nygaard and based in Nørresundby, Denmark, NGI serves the food and pharmaceutical industries and has a particular expertise in the development and manufacturing of certified hygienic products.
NGI employs 72 people who design, develop and manufacture levelling feet for more than 3,000 customers in Europe and the US. NGI had a turnover of DKK 132m in 2012 and reached a DKK 150m turnover in 2013.
